There is honesty and trust on both sides, however. I will deliver the merchandise to you as represented on my website (excluding damage that might be incurred by the Post Office/FedEx). In turn, when you order a doll from me, I expect that you will follow through on your commitment to me to purchase the merchandise.

Note that my shoppe is a hobby, not my main business. I have many commitments I have to fulfill with my main business, but I will do my best to ship your item(s) within two business days.

Hold Policy
I will reserve the doll(s)/item(s) for seven (7) days from receiving your confirming order via e-mail. If I do not receive your payment within the seven (7) days (unless prior arrangements have been made) I will assume that you are no longer interested in the doll and remove the "hold sticker" from my website and the doll will then be available for purchase by other interested buyers.

Payment Options       
Items from my web site can be purchased via credit card through PayPal. Click on the image directly above to go to PayPal to either set up an account or initiate a PayPal payment. Free international PayPal accounts are now available through the PayPal web site. Please note that the prices included with the PayPal "buttons" include individual shipping within the USA for the doll. If you would like to order more than one doll through the PayPal option, please e-mail me so we can work the transaction without you having to pay extra shipping charges. The shipping prices are for USA shipments only. If you'd like to place an international order through PayPal, please e-mail me so we can work the PayPal system to include the appropriate shipping charge. If you use PayPal for your transaction without using the "buttons," please send the payment to auntbarbie@mylinuxisp.com or auntbarbie@abdolls.com.

Payment can also be made with a money order or check. With a money order I'll try to mail the doll within a couple of days. With a check, I'll hold the doll for shipment at least a week to make sure the check clears. I will contact you when your payment arrives. I no longer accept regular credit card orders. All credit card transactions must be processed through PayPal. I cannot accept credit card numbers over the telephone. Please note that the prices on my For Sale lists do not include shipping. Generally, shipping in the USA runs $8.00 for the first doll and $3 for each additional doll. Please ask for a shipping price when e-mailing me about your order.

I will reserve your doll for seven days from receiving your confirming order.

Please note that I cannot ship via COD.

For international orders, I can accept an international postal money order or money order payable on a USA bank, Western Union wire transfer, or PayPal (if available in your country). 

Lay Away
In addition to a check, money order, or PayPal, I can also accept lay aways for purchases over $50 with prior approval. Please contact me at auntbarbie@abdolls.com to discuss a lay away option for your purchase. Note that lay away payments put on PayPal will be charged a $2 processing fee per payment.

A 20% nonrefundable deposit is due within seven (7) days of placing your order for the doll(s), unless prior arrangements have been made. Payments on the remaining balance must made monthly (or more frequently) with the entire balance due within 60 days. If you miss a monthly payment, there will be a $5 service charge. If you're ordering over $200 worth of dolls, payments on the remaining balance must made monthly with the remaining balance due within 90 days. Orders over $500 have a 120-day lay away period, with payments due on a monthly basis. Sorry, no refunds. Original prices agreed upon at time of initial order stand firm.

Shipping
I ship dolls via the Post Office or FedEx home delivery to US locations. I will e-mail you when I ship your doll(s). Please send me an e-mail when the doll(s) arrive and let me know of its condition. If the doll(s) have been damaged from shipment, please keep all packaging materials so we can file a claim with the Post Office/FedEx.

I can also rush ship items via UPS or Federal Express for an additional charge.

For international orders, I can ship via insured Air Mail (usually 4-7 business days), Express Mail (usually 2–3 business days), or surface mail (usually 4-6 weeks). I provide custom shipping prices based on the weight and size of the box I will ship to you.

Returns
Please e-mail me for authorization on any return within two days of receiving the product. There is a 15% restocking fee and item/box must be returned in the same condition as it was sent to you. All NRFB (never removed from box) items are nonreturnable, unless damaged from shipment. Please inquire about the doll/box condition before confirming your order. Most of my items are in boxes that are of very good to excellent condition. I will be glad to describe any doll/box in detail. Please just e-mail me with your questions.

Barbie Doll Prices/Values/Appraisals
I receive many e-mails from people wanting to know the value of their Barbie dolls. I am not familiar at all with values of vintage Barbie dolls so please check out one or all of the sites listed below that feature lists of Barbie-related websites. Barbie Bazaar magazine also has an online price guide featuring vintage Barbies. Many of them have information on vintage Barbie dolls. For values of current Barbie dolls, I suggest you order the Fashion Doll Price Guide from an online book store like Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble.com, etc.

If you don't have access to these resources, I am now doing Barbie doll appraisals for newer dolls (1975 to present) only. If you'd like me to provide an appraisal for your dolls based on the Fashion Doll Price Guide, I'll be glad to appraise up to 10 dolls for $20.00, payable online via PayPal or via check or money order, if you have the time to wait for snail mail. If you purchase at least $50.00 of products from my web site, you can receive appraisals on up to five Barbie dolls free of charge. I am able to provide appraisals based on dolls that are NRFB with boxes that are in good to excellent condition. I do not have the knowledge or ability to provide appraisals for vintage Barbie dolls.

I've been collecting Barbie dolls as a hobby since 1985 when my Mom gave me a Barbie doll for Christmas, sort of as a nostalgia thing from when I was a small child and received one of the earliest Barbie dolls ever produced. This Christmas gift caused my interest to grow in collecting a few Barbie dolls "just to have." Then when I found out other people actually collected Barbie dolls, too, my collecting took off. I even got to attend a national Barbie Convention in Dallas, TX in 1990.

One of the other "hobbies" in my life are my two beautiful nieces. Since the day they were born (or at least since they were able to talk), they've been calling me "Aunt Barbie." When I was thinking about a name for my web site, I decided to include them in some way, thus the name "Aunt Barbie's Dolls." Now I am affectionately reminded of them every time I use my Internet name (Aunt Barbie) and web site name (Aunt Barbie's Dolls). They've also become Barbie doll collectors (no thanks to my influence) and have wonderful collections of their own.
